Grey January

Well there's another Democratic debate tonight, after Cory Booker dropped out of the race. If only we can get the stupid billionaires to drop out too. Also, Nancy Pelosi is supposed to send over the articles of impeachment today, or is having some sort of meeting about it I think. The news comes so fast it's overwhelming. I did hear the discouraging news about a Wisconsin judge wanting to purge thousands of voters. Not sure if that can be appealed further. At least we got a few Republicans to vote to limit Trump's war powers in Iran. It's still a clusterfuck over the assassination.

The Australian fires have continued, but they are hoping for rainy weather soon. But most of the media has been ignoring the earthquakes in Puerto Rico. I had just started seeing tourism TV ads for Puerto Rico lately, and now they have another catastrophe to deal with. So sad. So many crises in this new year.

At least Season 2 of the Inbestigators is out now, so I binge watched it this weekend to cheer myself up a little. I also went to see a very funny play called Ripcord about two feuding women in an assisted living facility. They make a bet with each other, resulting in escalating pranks as well as some revelations about their families. Felt good to laugh for a while.
